SPIN’s Covid-19 Fund; We’re All in This Together

The COVID-19 virus has created unique challenges for individuals with disability and their families. With the closure of schools, pre-schools, autism support programs providing behavioral support, 1:1 instruction, daycare, employment services for adults with disability and community based day supports, organizations such as SPIN have worked diligently to assist struggling families. This has been accomplished by providing remote therapies, instruction, education and support. The focus being to maintain routines which are so critical to those with autism as they work on developing language and learning skills so they do not fall further behind developmentally and behaviorally.

At SPIN we are finding new ways to maintain routines and continue to provide a Life of Possibilities. Remote therapies and remote classes have become a large part of the new normal. Your support will help us provide high-quality care to the children we support by giving us the opportunity to increase the technology needed to interact with the children and adults we care for. This technology will give each child the continued chance to grow, making sure they have every opportunity for development in a challenging environment.
